Big Change in Education System For Engineering Students.
As we all know that education system is purely based on marks and ranks. Students only cramming the book to get high marks but due to this, they did not get actual knowledge by it.Now a major step is taken to change this system. AICTE i.e All India Council For Technical Education has announced to Change the syllabus. So now the syllabus would meet the industrial requirements.
According to Times of India report, the theory marks had been reduced to 160 from 220 and out of 160 credits, 14 credits are assigned to an industrial internship. The industrial internship has become mandatory for all students. The motive of the new system is to teach the student practical work so that they got actual knowledge about work.
Union Human Resource development minister Prakash Javedkar announced about it. He said that the syllabus and rules must be changed every year as per requirement of an industry.He said in his speech that the quality education is the only way to progress and they have taken various initiatives to give impetus to its growth and the existing syllabus has been revamped by preparing a model curriculum as an updated curriculum is a student’s right. He also said that its government’s duty to provide best teachers and scholarship to the students.
